Finalizing Your Loyale & Lightspeed R-Series Integration
To access Loyale's features during a transaction, you must register a custom button within the R-Series "Sale Tab" configuration. Follow these steps to complete the link.
Phase 1: Accessing Custom Menus
The R-Series allows you to customize the interface of your register through the Settings panel.
Log in to the Web UI: Open the Lightspeed R-Series Dashboard.
Locate Custom Menus: In the main sidebar, navigate to Settings > Custom Menus.
Identify the Target Area: Select the option labeled Register: Sale Tab. This ensures the Loyale button appears exactly where your staff processes transactions.
Phase 2: Registering the Loyale Button
Now you will input the specific connection details that allow Lightspeed to "window" into your Loyale dashboard.
Create New Entry: Click the button to add a new custom menu item.
Enter Integration Details: Refer to your Loyale Integration Settings page and fill in the following:
Button Label: Name this "Loyale" or "Loyalty".
Link/URL: Copy and paste the unique URL provided in your Loyale dashboard.
Type: Ensure it is set to open as a "Web View" or "Popup" (depending on your specific R-Series version) so it doesn't navigate away from the sale.
Save Changes: Click the Save or Done button to finalize the addition.
Phase 3: Verification
Unlike other versions, the R-Series usually updates the interface in real-time or upon the next login.
Open the Register: Navigate to the Sales screen on your POS.
Locate the Tab: Look for the new Loyale button on the right-hand side or under the designated "Custom" tab on your sale screen.
Test the Link: Click the button to ensure the Loyale customer lookup window opens correctly without closing the current transaction.
Pro Tip: If the button does not appear immediately, log out of the Lightspeed Retail app and log back in to force a refresh of your custom menu settings.
